Get Ready for the Sew Along!!

It’s time to get all of your supplies together for my Gracious Grove Sew Along. This is a beautiful quilt with a lot of detail. We will take our time and work on this together so that you can have success in completing this stunning quilt.

Follow along and you will learn my method for precision piecing, applique, bias tape, and much more. We are going to have a wonderful time!

as we stitch away on this fresh, warm, Spring-like project. By the time warm weather is here, we will be done with Gracious Grove!

We will be starting on February 17. Every Wednesday for 11 weeks I will post here on my blog as we make the blocks together. Here is a list of what you need if you want to join me:

• Gracious Grove pattern. The pattern is usually included in a kit. OR you can purchase a separate pattern from a participating quilt shop, or HERE on my website.

• Fabrics as listed on the back of the pattern. I used the fabrics in my “GROVE” collection by Riley Blake. Many quilt shops carry kits, or you can purchase a kit HERE on my website—it includes the pattern.

  I will be teaching applique the Jillily Way. These are the notions that I use: (They can be purchased at a quilt shop or HERE on my website)

• Jillily Studio Maker Paper

• Jillily Studio Applique Set OR purchase the items separately: Jillily Studio Starch Brush, Quilter’s Digit, Appli-Glue, Poke-A-Dots, Bohin Needles—

  Applique size 11.

• 1/4” Bias Tape Maker

So gather your supplies together and you will be ready. If you want to start cutting, you can cut all of the fabrics as listed on page 1 of my pattern OR, even better, you can cut just the pieces you need each week in the Block heading. Here is a schedule of the Sew Along so you can see which blocks we will be working on each week.
