Virtual Spring Quilt Market Part 2— Conservatory Fabric
Hello again, Shops! I just want to remind you of my current fabric that is available. The fabric that I showed last Fall Market has not yet arrived in the warehouse, and it is still available for you to purchase. So a re-cap is in order!
My booth last Market was so fun! It even won BEST BOOTH! But the best part was showing the fun new quilt designs and fabrics from my CONSERVATORY fabric collection.
CONSERVATORY is a fun take on a blue and white collection—I added in a sprinkling of red, pink, yellow and green to finish it off! This collection is great because it has a lot of very geometric and graphic prints which are great to use in a more masculine project. Of course it also has lots of beautiful florals, and I love the way the prints play together.
Take a look at this beautiful main print—this is the colorful version, and it also comes in dark blue ground with white, and a white ground with flowers in blues.
Another print that I want to highlight is this architectural design print. The white version will make a fabulous background print for your blocks or for applique. The blue versions look like a blueprint!
Now I want to show you some of the quilt patterns that I designed for this collection. The first one here is called “Shine On.” The stars are arranged in a color gradation pattern. This quilt has a little bit of applique and finishes at 96” x 96.”
The next pattern is “Arabian Nights.” It uses all of the blues and whites in the collection. This striking quilt is 99” square. Shops take note on this one—I have had a LOT of interest in this pattern, and a kit would be simple to cut—mostly 1 yard cuts of each fabric.
“Dutch Delight” is a smaller quilt, 64” x 64”-—perfect size for a topper or wall hanging or throw. This is another design that is a snap to kit. It uses a 10” stacker!! See, I am thinking about my shop owners! It’s also a great one for a class because the piecing is simple and quick, and the applique pieces are large and easy.
The last two quilts I want to show you are remakes of older patterns. These designs are beautiful done up in Conservatory prints. First, here is “Summertime Blues.” This pattern has been one of my most popular patterns ever, and I think that CONSERVATORY makes it even better.
And this one is “Serenity.” Simple piecing and charming applique are framed by the scalloped borders in this lap-sized quilt.
Well, that’s a wrap up of my. Conservatory fabric line. I hope you saw something you like in our Virtual Spring Market. You can place your orders through your Riley Blake rep or call them to get an account. Checker Distributors also carries my products or you can order patterns directly from me at Jillily Studio.
