Meet the Notions!

Happy Friday everyone!

Today I am excited to introduce you to the line up of all my Jillily Studio Notions!

Over the next few weeks I will be doing a more detailed blog post about each one of my notions and how to use them but today you get to meet them all!

As you probably know by now, I love to do Applique on my designs. Many of my notions were designed specifically for Applique! To get my Applique pieces just right I use my archival quality Appli-Glue with a precision tip to get just the perfect amount of glue. My Quilter’s Digit helps make sure that my edges get pressed nice and crisp without burning a finger and my Starch Brush has tightly packed bristles that adds the precise amount of starch to your seam allowance. Also included in the set are my Poke-A-Dots and a set of BOHN size 11 Applique needles. These notions can be purchased all together in a set with the tin or they can bee purchased individually!

Another notion that is truly a game changer when it comes to Applique is my Maker Paper! Click HERE to read another blog post all about Maker Paper!

The newest addition to my notions are my Perfect Pieces Template Sets. These ruler templates make cutting your pieces a breeze and help to ensure you don’t waste your fabric. They are made of acrylic and have non-slip coating. I currently have two sets: Wedges and Hex Angle!

This Hex Angle Template set is what I used to make my Sweet to the Soul quilt shown below.
